Man critical after being shot by militants

Militants today shot at and injured a man in Tral area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir, police said.

"Unidentified militants fired upon and injured Aijaz Ahmad Shah, 38, near Gol Masjid in Tral," a police spokesperson said.

Shah was rushed to sub-district hospital, Tral, from where he was referred to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment.

"His condition is stated to be critical," the spokesperson said.
