Man held for inflicting knife injuries on minor daughter

Lal Jose (48), accompanied by his daughter, visited his maternal uncle's house to discuss some financial matter during which, in a fit of anger, he attacked the girl with a knife, they said.

The girl was taken to medical college hospital here, where her condition was stated to be out of danger, police said.
