Man held with 35 pouches of illicit liquor in J&K

A person was arrested and 35 pouches of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.

Govind Singh was intercepted at Resai bus stand and 35 pouches of illicit liquor was recovered from his possession yesterday, they said.

The accused was immediately arrested and booked under various sections of the Jammu and Kashmir Excise Act, police said, adding investigations have also been initiated in the case.
