Man held with intoxicants in Jammu

A person was arrested and a large quantity of intoxicants recovered from his possession in Jammu city.

The accused identified as Ankush Gupta, a resident of Shaheedi Chowk, was arrested from the Jogi Gate area yesterday when he was found carrying 214 intoxicant tablets of different brands which he was supposed to sell to a youth in the area, police said.

Police arrested Ankush on the spot and booked him under various sections of Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
