Man killed by elder brother

A 55-year-old man was killed

allegedly by his elder brother and family in Nadwari village here this morning reportedly over property dispute, police said.

Ramesh Singh was in front of his house when his elder brother Rajendra, sister-in-law, nephew and others allegedly opened fire on him, SP Dehat Balendu Bhushan Singh said.

As Singh ran, the assailants chased and killed him, the SP said, adding that dispute over a piece of land was stated to be the cause of crime.

The family members of the deceased alleged that he had informed police about threat to his life many times earlier but to no avail.
