Man kills septuagenarian father over land dispute

A 75-year-old man was hacked to death allegedly by his son over land-related dispute in Adalhat area in Mirzapur district, police said here today.

The victim, Raghunath was hacked to death last evening with a sickle by his son Lal Chandra over land dispute in Parashurampur village in the district, a police spokesperson said.

The accused has been arrested today for patricide and sent to jail, the Spokesperson said.
