Man kills wife

death by her husband in the copper town of Musabani, 40 km from here, in Ghatsila sub-division, police said.

In an inebriated state, 40-year-old Sonu Bera attacked his wife, Shanti Bera with an axe following an altercation in the morning, police said.

Shanti, a resident of Harijan bustee, died instantly, police said.

The man was arrested and the axe used in the killing recovered.
