A man allegedly killed his wife over a family dispute in Padam Nagar area of Faridabad, police said here today.
According to a police spokesperson, accused Gopal who lives in Padam Nagar with his 25-year-old wife Mamta got into a quarrel with her today.
The argument gradually turned ugly and in the heat of moment Gopal lost his temper and delivered several blows on Mamta's head with the handle of a hand pump. She died on the spot.
Accused was arrested, Police station incharge Satyanarayan said, adding the body has been sent for post mortem.
