Man murders wife

A man allegedly killed his 52-year-old

wife in Bharatpur district in Rajasthan, police said here today.

The accused Rajpal (55), a farmer, hit his wife Shakuntala with some heavy object while she was sleeping last night, they said.

"Rajpal used to suspect her character and they were not talking with each other for the last few days. The couple had a heated argument last night which led to the murder," SHO Roopwas Naresh Sharma said, adding the accused has been arrested.
