Begumpet police here today registered a case of cheating against a man for allegedly duping his friend of Rs 2.5 lakh under the pretext of getting him a job in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate.
"A case of cheating has been registered against one Bharat, a private employee, and further investigations are on to ascertain if he had promised others also of providing jobs after collecting money from them," said DCP (North Zone) Sudhir Babu.
Police are yet to make any arrest in this connection, the DCP added.
