Man strangulated to death

A 30-year-old man was strangulated to death by unknown miscreants in the district, police said today.

Sunil Kumad was strangulated with a belt yesterday at Midkali village here, SHO, Budhana police station, A P Mishra said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem, he said.

Meanwhile, a 38-year-old labourer working at a factory was shot dead by two bike-born assailants at Malira village near here last evening.

The cause behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, police said, adding, the matter is being investigated.
