Man suffering from insomnia commits suicide

An elderly man allegedly committed suicide as he was disturbed with his problem of insomnia (sleeplessness), a police official said today.

The deceased, identified as Gendalal Bisen (53), was undergoing treatment for insomnia at a private hospital in Seoni, Ari police station in-charge K K Trivedi said.

Bisen allegedly committed suicide last night by jumping into a well at an agriculture field here. The body was found early today, he said.

After autopsy, the body was handed over to his family for last rites, he said adding a case has been registered in this regard.
