Singer Mariah Carey has has recorded a new ballad about her split from James Packer.
The songstress broke up from the 49-year-old Australian billionaire in October 2016, and in the latest episode of her reality TV show "Mariah's World" has opened up about their aborted engagement after recording "I Don't".
"Ever since the tour wrapped I took some time just to process my feelings and I started writing a song to express what I've been going through.
"And if you're not getting the love that you need from someone that you're supposed to be in a real relationship with, then why remain in that situation?" Carey said.
The recording comes shortly after Carey, 46, admitted she finds songwriting to be "very healing".
