Prices of masoor and its dal todau rose by Rs 50 on the wholesale pulses market here today.
Rate of rest of the pulses held steady.
Traders said pick up in retailers demand amid lower arrivals from producing belts mainly led to rise in masoor and its dal prices.

Masoor small and bold rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 5150-5400 and Rs 5200-5450, while its dal local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6000-6100 and Rs 6100-6200 per quintal respectively.
Following were today's pulses rates per quintal:
Urad 4,500-5,050, Urad Chilka (local) 5,650-5,850, best 5,900-6,500, Dhoya 6,150-6,550, Moong 6,500-7,800, Dal Moong Chilka local 7,600-8,100, Moong Dhoya local 7,500-7,800 and best quality 8,300-8,400.
Masoor small 5,150-5,400, bold 5,200-5,450, Dal Masoor local 6,000-6,100, best quality 6,100-6,200, Malka local 5,600-5,900, best 5,800-5,900, Moth 4,900-5,200, Arhar 4,500-4,600, Dal Arhar Dara 6,050-6,250.
