Mauritanian PM, cabinet resign: state media

Mauritania's prime minister and his entire cabinet resigned today, state-run news agency AMI reported, without giving a reason for the mass departure.

"Prime Minister Moulaye Ould Mohamed Laghdaf has submitted his government's resignation to President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz," AMI said. The premier had been in his post since 2009.
