It was a cold and breezy day in the national capital with the maximum temperature plunging to 19.5 degrees Celsius, a notch below the season's average.
The humidity oscillated between 95 and 41 per cent.
The Met office has forecast partly cloudy skies along with mist and shallow fog in the morning and haze and smoke thereafter for Tuesday.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 19 and 6 degrees Celsius respectively," the weatherman said.
On Sunday, the maximum and minimum temperatures settled at 23.5 and 8.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
