Mentally ill minor girl jumps from GB Pant hospital, injured

A 17-year-old mentally ill girl was injured after she allegedly jumped from the first floor of GB Pant Hospital in central Delhi today, police said.

The minor was brought to the hospital for routine check-up by Nirmal Chhaya workers when she broke away from them and allegedly jumped around 4.30 PM, said a senior police officer.

She is mentally ill and wasn't accompanied by her family members, he added.

The girl is currently under observation at the hospital.
