A 11-year-old boy hailing from Haryana, abducted last week, was found murdered at Sehpat village in Shamli district, police said today.
The victim has been identified as Sagar. He was abducted from Ujha village of Panipat district in Haryana on September 5 and a ransom of Rs 20 lakh was demanded, SHO Dalbir Singh said.
A case of abduction was registered in Panipat district, he said.
The accused identified as Rajender was arrested yesterday by Panipat police from Sehpat village at Shamli district in UP. He confessed to both the abduction and murder, the SHO said.
