A minor fire broke out on the third floor of state secretariat Nabanna this afternoon, which was promptly doused, the police said.
The fire broke out in an adjacent room of the MoS Agriculture due to an electrical short-circuit, a senior police officer from Nabanna, said.
"It was not a big fire. We noticed smoke coming out of the windows. Personnel of the electrical department and the fire brigade rushed to the spot and checked the problem," the officer added.
