Minor girl drowned in canal

A minor girl drowned in a canal in the district, today morning when she had gone to get water, police today.

The incident occurred in Khuiyala village where 12-year-old Rabina, slipped into canal, police said.

She had gone there with some women. Divers brought the body out of the canal and sent it for post mortem, they said.
