A 13-year-old girl from Rajiv Nagar was allegedly kidnapped here, police said today.
As per a complaint filed by Ranju Devi, her daughter went missing on March 9. She suspects the girl was kidnapped by one Mukesh, son of Talukdar.
A case has been registered under relevant sections of the IPC and the police are investigating.
In another incident, a 16-year-old boy went missing from SGM Nagar here, police said.
The boy, a class VII student, had his lunch after returning from school on Monday and left home without informing his mother.
As the family failed to locate the boy, his mother lodged a complaint with SGM nagar police station.
