Minor girl killed as iron gate falls on her

A 10-year-old girl was killed while a minor boy was injured when an iron gate fell on a group of children, police said today.

Police said that some children were swinging on the gate in Aggarwal Colony on Dayanand College Road when it came off and fell on them.

While Mamata was crushed under the weight of the gate, a seven-year-old boy was also injured in the accident, they said.
