Minor sodomised in UP

A 15-year-old boy was allegedly

sodomised by an unidentified youth in Kotwali area, police said today.

The incident took place yesterday when the boy was passing through a field, they said, adding, he was also assaulted by the youth when he resisted.

The boy was later admitted to a hospital, police said.

An FIR has been lodged this morning on the basis of a complaint and efforts are being made to identify the alleged accused, they added.
