Sugar showed a mixed trend at the wholesale market in the national capital today with prices of select varieties rising on buying support, while a few receded on ample supplies.
Sugar ready M-30 and S-30 prices enquired higher at Rs 2,690-2,860 and Rs 2,680-2,850 from Rs 2,700-2,840 and Rs 2,690-2,830 per quintal.
However, mill delivery M-30 and S-30 eased to Rs 2,540-2,690 and Rs 2,530-2,680 from Rs 2,545-2,685 and Rs 2,535-2,675 per quintal.

Traders said prices of some mills rose on the back of buying by stockists and bulk consumers but prices of selective mills declined largely on ample supplies by mills.
In the millgate section, Budhana and Thanabhavan rose by Rs 15 each to Rs 2,600 and Rs 2,590, while Asmoli and Dhanora were up by Rs 10 each to Rs 2,660 and Rs 2,590 per quintal.
On the other hand, sugar Khatuli fell by Rs 30 at Rs 2,670. Anupshehar and Chandpur lost Rs 20 each to settle at Rs 2,570 per quintal.
