Mobile squad of female police officers to protect women

Nashik city Police Commissioner Kulwant Kumar Sarangal launched a mobile squad of woman police officers here today, to protect women by undertaking night patrolling at bus stands, railway stations and other places.

The squad called 'Nirbhaya' will protect lone women on roads and also solve internal home disputes. The squad would be active 24 hours, the police said.
