Mohammed Shami out of UAE match with knee injury

The bowler is given ultra sound injections; decision taken to ensure injury doesn't get aggravated

Press Trust of India Perth
India will miss the services of pacer Mohammed Shami against UAE in tomorrow's ICC World Cup cricket match here as he has been ruled out owing to a knee injury.

Shami is suffering from left knee injury and was administered ultra sound injections. In order to ensure that the injury doesn't get aggravated, Shami has been rested against UAE, according to release sent by media manager R N Baba.

Shami has taken six wickets from two matches and has been India's wicket-taking bowler in the tournament. Stuart Binny or Bhuvneshwar Kumar would replace Shami against UAE.
