MPCC welcomes Pranab's candidature

"Mukherjee's candidature would not only be accepted by parties in UPA but also by parties outside UPA, resulting into a thumping victory," a statement issued by the party's state unit said.

It said Mukherjee had always proved his leadership by his performance and vision. His ability to perform in a crisis situation would definitely help the country.
