My agent says I'm too old to play teenagers: Carey Mulligan

British star Carey Mulligan, who turns 30 this month, insists she is relieved her face is maturing.

The baby-faced actress said she is looking forward to it as she will no longer be cast as a teenager, reported Daily Mirror.

"I spent a lot of my early 20s playing teenagers because of my baby face. My agent has started saying, 'You've been offered this part, she's 19, you're too old', and I'm like, 'I'm too old? Brilliant! I've never been too old'. All the great parts come now, I think, so I'm excited," she said.
