National powerlifting championship in Kozhikode from Sep 3

The championship will be held from September 3 to 8.

There will be participants from all the states and also from Railways, BSNL and Ordinance Factory, sources in Kerala Powerlifting Association said.

Prominent stars who would vie for honours include P Suresh, Gurvinder Singh, Sandeep Awari, Gurudeep Singh (Railways), Mithun Joseph, Jimson, N J Pushpamma Joseph, Shami, Lekha K L (Kerala) and E R Kusuma and Tejaswani Naidu (Andhra Pradesh).

Events will be held in various weight categories.
