Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will not be able to meet well wishers on the New Year's Day on Tuesday due to health issues, a release from the Chief Minister's Office said Monday.
Patnaik has requested his well wishers not to visit his residence on Tuesday morning.
He will, however, visit Lord Jagannth's temple at Puri during the day and attend office at the secretariat in the afternoon, it said.
"The Chief Minister developed pain in his knees after the morning exercises and doctors have advised him some rest," the release said.
