NCP state executive seeks quick decision on alliance with Cong

The new state executive of Maharashtra NCP which met today asked the leadership to take a decision on alliance with Congress for the upcoming Assembly elections at the earliest.

The meeting was chaired by state NCP chief Sunil Tatkare.

The newly appointed office-bearers sought an early decision on the alliance.

Tatkare said that the new committee should strive to expand and strengthen the party base in the entire state.

"Self-confidence is low after the Lok Sabha defeat. But if we work with confidence and positivity, it's not difficult to win the Assembly elections for the fourth time in a row," he said.
