New born child abandoned in garbage rescued

A new born child found abandoned in a garbage was rescued today, police said here.

Kannaian, who went to throw garbage in the morning found the boy child and rescued him and handed over to officials of Child Help Line, police said.

The child was admitted to Government Hospital here.
