Nitco Q4 net profit at Rs 45 cr

Tiles maker Nitco Ltd today reported standalone net profit of Rs 44.98 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2014-15.

The company had posted net loss of Rs 56.93 crore during the January-March quarter of the previous fiscal, 2013-14.

Company's net sales during the quarter under review stood at Rs 199.45 crore, almost flat when compared to Rs 199.26 crore in the year-ago period, it said in a filing to BSE.

For the full fiscal 2014-15, the company registered net loss of Rs 127.22 crore, as against Rs 211.23 crore loss in previous financial year.

Net sales in 2014-15 were at Rs 823.99 crore, compared with net sales of Rs 758.58 crore in 2013-14.
 

Nitco stock closed at Rs 17.60, up 13.55 per cent, on the BSE.
