Uttarakhand government today issued a notification permitting functionaries of only seven categories to move in vehicles fitted with red beacons.
As per the notification issued by Chief Secretary Subhash Kumar, only the Governor, Chief Minister, Assembly Speaker, Cabinet Ministers, Leader of Opposition in the state Assembly, Chief Justice of the High Court and Judges will now be entitled to vehicles fitted with red beacons without hooters, an official release here said.
