Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL) has bagged two awards under Asset Utilization and Strategic Performance categories respectively at the Fourth edition of Governance Now PSU Awards 2016.
The awards were presented to NRL Director(Finance) S K Barua by Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Ram Vilas Paswan at New Delhi recently, a NRL release said here today.
Veteran Bollywood actor Jeetendra was also present on the occasion.
The Awards honour the efforts of public sector Undertakings(PSUs) that have been key to India's overall economic growth.
The core mission of the award is to evaluate PSUs so as to instill in them the spirit of healthy competition that will motivate them to improve their performance and help them serve the larger society in a better way.
