Gearing up for the Delhi University Students Union elections, the congress affiliated National Students Union of India today announced the party's campaign committee.
NSUI, which has been one of the key contestants in the keenly contested DUSU polls over the years, has this time decided to focus on the proposed new education policy and various issues concerning the varsity students including cut down of seats in legal courses due to scrapping of evening classes by Bar Council of India.
"The draft policy document is fascist as the recommendations submitted by the TSR Subramanian Committee are against the student welfare and the target number of consultations across the country was not done," Amrita Dhawan, acting NSUI president said at a press conference.
