Odisha Advocate General resigns

Odisha government today accepted the resignation of state's Advocate General Ashok Mohanty, official sources said.
Though Mohanty had submitted his resignation letter after formation of the new government, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik accepted it today, they said.
Mohanty was appointed as the state's advocate general in 2009. During his tenure, Mohanty represented the state government in many legal cases including before the Justice M F Shah Commission which probed the mining scam.
His successor is yet to be named.
