A 22-year-old man was killed and two others injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a speeding truck at Kutchery overbridge here, police said.
The accident took place when Vipul Misra and two of his friends had gone out on the two-wheeler last night, they said.
The three were injured in the mishap and rushed to a trauma centre where the doctors declared Misra dead. The truck driver fled from the scene along with his vehicle after the accident, police said.
Alleging negligence on the part of doctors, the relatives of the deceased created ruckus inside the trauma centre following which police was called to control the situation.
