One killed, seven injured in clash

One person was today killed and seven others were injured when members of two groups clashed over a land dispute in Kandhai area here, a senior officer said here.

Ram Sajeevan (55) was killed when members of two groups clashed and opened fire on each other over a land lease in Chak Mubarakpur village, Police Superintendent Anant Kumar Dev said.

The injured have been admitted to the district hospital, the SP said, adding that four persons have been arrested in this connection.
