One of the highlights of the sculptures adorning a

specially created garden spread across three acres of land at the foothills of Shivneri is the historical event in which the 14-year-old Shivaji vows at the Rohideshwar Shiva temple to free the country from the clutches of the foreign rulers. At the centre of the cluster is a 15-ft-tall sculpture of Jijau who is projected as an inspirational mother of an epoch making warrior king who laid the early foundation of "Hindavi Swarajya" by raising a formidable army out of ordinary people in Maharashtra . A PWD official said the Rs 50 lakh project was being given finishing touches and was expected to officially inaugurated soon.
