One person killed as truck hits stationary lorry

One person was killed when a truck hit a stationary lorry in West Bengal's Bankura district today, a senior police officer said.

Superintendent of Police, Sukhendu Hira said the truck hit the stationary lorry on Durgapur-Bankura Road in which the helper of the truck was killed.

Both the truck and the lorry were damaged in the accident, he added.
