ONV selected for award

Poet and writer ONV Kurup has been

selected for the first award instituted by the Thrikkakara Samskarika Kendra here in memory of Mahakavi G Sankara Kurup.

The award carries a cash prize of Rs 25,000 and a citation and will be presented to Kurup at a function here on June 22, Kendram President, Paul Mecharil, told reporters here.
