Over 500 persons detained in storming operatin

: Over 500 persons have been detained during a 'storming' operation here on various charges, police said today.

The charges of those detained last night include drunken driving and they were issued non-bailable warrants.

The operation was conducted by special police in various areas, including hotels and mansions, a police press release said.
