Overhead tank commissioned in Pondy village

A Rs 2.18 crore overhead tank has been commissioned in Tirubhuvanai village in the Union Territory.

Chief Minister N.Rangasamy commissioned the tank in the presence of local legislator P.Angalane yesterday.

PWD officials said the tank has capacity to hold five lakh litres at a time and a sump to store 2.5 lakh litres of water had also been added.
