Parrikar visits BDL

Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar today visited Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a defence PSU, here.

BDL CMD V Udaya Bhaskar apprised Parrikar about the production activities and future expansion plans, a release from the company said.

BDL was set up in 1970 to be a manufacturing base for the guided weapon systems.

Later Parrikar flagged off a mid-day meal distribution van donated by the company to Akshayapatra, an NGO, as part of their corporate social responsibility initiative.
