Pb govt asks departments to submit timely reply in court cases

Directions have been issued to all the departments that files pertaining to court cases would be sent to the Finance Department at least fifteen days prior to the date of hearing for proper examination by the department, a spokesman said today.

The spokesperson further said that the court cases, where the policy of the Finance Department has been challenged or subject of the court case entailed financial implications, the replies to be filed by the departments should be approved by the Finance Department positively.

Directions in the regard have been issued to all the Financial Commissioners, Principal Secretaries and Administrative Secretaries of all the departments.
