Pet dog injures girl

An eight-year-old girl sustained

severe injuries after allegedly being attacked by a pet dog at south Delhi's Hauz Rani area, police said today.

The girl, whose father operates a small-scale laundry facility in the area, has been admitted to a private hospital in Saket, said a police officer.

A case has been registered under relevant sections of law at Saket police station and police have arrested the master of the dog, the police officer added.
