Petrol pump cashier shot dead, cash looted

A cashier of a petrol pump was allegedly shot dead by some motorcycle-borne unidentified persons, who also looted cash from him, here in Charbagh area, police said today.

Mohammad Jasheen (40), working as the cashier at the petrol pump near KKC Degree College trisection, was shot last night by two motorcycle-borne youths, who also looted cash from

him.

He was rushed to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.

The police is probing the matter and has detained two persons in the matter.
