Philippines raises typhoon death toll to 3,621: disaster

The death toll from a super typhoon that tore through the Philippines has been raised to 3,621, the government's disaster agency said today.

Reynaldo Balido, spokesman for the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council, also listed the number of missing at 1,140.
