Pilot reconstitutes Rajasthan unit of Cong

Rajasthan Congress chief Sachin Pilot today reconstituted the state unit and appointed 20 new district presidents.

Pilot appointed three senior vice-presidents, eight vice-presidents, nine general secretaries, 22 secretaries and three executive members of Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee (RPCC).

Congress MLA from Bharatpur district Vishwendra Singh and former MPs Gopal Singh Idawa and Bhanwarlal Meghwal have been appointed as senior vice-presidents of RPCC, a party spokesperson said.

K L Bairwa, Ratan Singh, Shankar Pannu, Bharat Meghwal, Karan Singh, Mumtaz Masih, Khannu Khan and Jagdish Chandra Sharma have been made vice-presidents of the state unit, the spokesperson said.

Congress MLA Ramesh Meena was nominated as Deputy Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly.
 

Among 20 new district presidents of the party, Pratap Singh Khachariawas will head Jaipur City, while Rajendra Yadav will be district president in Jaipur Rural.
